The purpose behind this site grew out of our personal experience with cancer. Glenn was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus on 15^th August, 2003. Despite his doctor’s dire predictions of “this is the type you don’t want” and various other unpalatable statistics, eleven months later he was declared cancer free. This was a result of decisions we made about treatment options after considering a mountain of information. After many lost hours of our lives researching different approaches to the treatment of cancer, and our taking control, we felt there was a need to bring together as much information as possible in one place.

Unfortunately our research has shown us that most information is very clearly divided into two camps – medical and alternative. This results in an almost adversarial relationship between the two approaches. Our premise is that there is much to be gained by accessing the best of both worlds. Hence our goal to become “Your gateway to the latest information from both medical and alternative sources”.

This site is very new and still under development, so please bookmark us and revisit soon.

A diagnosis of cancer can be the most frightening thing you will ever face. Our hope is, that through sharing our experience and continually updated information with you, you may find both support and comfort during this difficult time.
